Tour Highlights
Paddle Through a Restored Wetland Ecosystem Glide quietly through a network of tidal channels, shallow marshes, and flooded wetlands where freshwater from Lagunitas Creek meets the saltwater of Tomales Bay.
Calm, Beginner-Friendly Paddling Starting in protected creek waters allows time to get comfortable before entering the bay. Tandem, closed-deck sea kayaks provide excellent stability and tracking, making this tour accessible for first-time paddlers while still engaging for experienced kayakers.
Wildlife & Birdlife Encounters The wetlands are home to a wide range of bird species and marine life. Depending on the season and tides, you may spot herons, egrets, harbor seals, and other wildlife — all observed respectfully from the water.
A Route Shaped by the Tides Each tour is unique. Tidal levels influence which channels and marshes are accessible, meaning no two paddles follow the exact same path. This natural variability keeps the experience fresh and adds a true sense of exploration.
Learn the History & Ecology of Point Reyes Your guides share stories of the area’s cultural history, watershed dynamics, and restoration projects, offering deeper context to the scenery around you and a richer connection to the land.
