Miller Boat Launch
Located on the east side of the bay, Miller is one of the most popular access points—ideal for smooth launches and wide-open views across the water toward Point Reyes. Great for sunrise paddles and beginners.
White House Pool
Just south of Inverness, this quieter launch spot offers easy access to southern Tomales Bay. Less crowded and shaded by trees, it’s perfect for peaceful paddling and birdwatching.
Chicken Ranch Beach
A local gem on the west shore with a short carry to the water. From here, you’ll quickly reach some of the most scenic stretches of the bay—great for families or short afternoon outings.
Marshall & Tomales Beaches
Planning an overnight? These boat-in-only camping areas are some of the most accessible for overnighters, featuring designated campsites, pit toilets, and unforgettable views. Paddle past sandstone cliffs, hidden coves, and untouched shoreline along the way.
As you glide across the bay, keep your eyes open for harbor seals, bat rays, osprey, and the occasional jellyfish drifting below. Tomales Bay is a haven for wildlife, offering rich encounters for nature lovers, paddlers, and photographers alike.
